Don’t miss our upcoming event: Painting with Tipsy Foxx at Teku Tavern in Belltown/SLU area! Come join your fellow alumni on Sunday, February 17 from 2:00-4:00pm for a private painting session led by a local artist. We will each be painting a custom, one-of-a-kind painting of University of Michigan’s Diag featuring the Grad Library!

Hike to Poo Poo Point

The Alumni Club is going to take a hike… to Poo Poo Point! Poo Poo Point is located in Issaquah, on the shoulder of West Tiger Mountain. It’s a popular hiking trail, whose summit is used as a launching spot for paragliders. We will meet at the parking lot for the Chirico Trail at 9 am; it is a popular trail, so arrive early before the lot gets too crowded. Poo Poo Point can also be accessed via the high school trail, with parking available at nearby Issaquah High School.

Summer Hike

It’s time for our annual summer hike! The Rattlesnake Ledge Trail is located in the Cedar River Watershed near North Bend. It’s a popular hiking trail, so we will meet up in the parking lot at 9 am to hit the trail before it gets too crowded.

This is a fine hike on a well maintained trail through the forest with views of the Cedar River watershed, Mount Si, Mount Washington, Rattlesnake Lake and Chester Morse Lake.

The hike is 4 miles roundtrip, with an elevation gain of 1160 feet, reaching its highest point at 2078 feet.

River Rafting Trip

We have arranged for a white water river rafting trip – a Northwest must! Join us for 2 - 3 hours of rafting on the great Wenatchee River near Leavenworth followed by a BBQ. You will get very wet on this adventure!
