Due to some recent attrition, The U-M Club of Seattle is seeking 2 - 3 new board members.
An ideal candidate would:
Be interested in meeting other Wolverines, and in giving back to our local U-M community;
Be able to attend monthly board meetings over dinner at a local restaurant. Board meetings are generally scheduled on the third Tuesday of the month, starting at 7:00 PM, and run for 90 minutes. Locations alternate between Seattle and Bellevue.
Be able to spend 10 - 20 hours per month on club business, including board meetings and attending events.
Be able to serve on our board for 2 - 3 years.
Possess skills and interests in one or more of the following areas:
- Organizing, coordinating and hosting events;
- Posting club events and other info to our website, using a Content Management System (CMS);
- Posting club events and info to our social media accounts (Facebook, etc.);
- Formatting and sending club emails.
