It’s time for our annual summer hike! The Rattlesnake Ledge Trail is located in the Cedar River Watershed near North Bend. It’s a popular hiking trail, so we will meet up in the parking lot at 9 am to hit the trail before it gets too crowded.
This is a fine hike on a well maintained trail through the forest with views of the Cedar River watershed, Mount Si, Mount Washington, Rattlesnake Lake and Chester Morse Lake.
The hike is 4 miles roundtrip, with an elevation gain of 1160 feet, reaching its highest point at 2078 feet.
The trail is rated as good for kids, and dogs are allowed on leash.
Wear your Maize and Blue, and pack a picnic lunch.
Send a note to Jason Gomberg if you have any questions.
