Summer Hike to Wallace Falls

Sunday, August 20, 2017 - 9:00am to 1:00pm

This is a very pretty and popular trail. Let’s try to meet up at the trail head by 9:00 AM so we can beat the crowds. Please wear your Maize and Blue, and bring along a picnic lunch.

Note that a Discover Pass is required for parking.

Trailhead is about an hour’s drive from Seattle.

Trail is 5.6 miles roundtrip.

Elevation gain is 1300 feet, and highest point is 1500 feet.

There are falls and great scenery at many spots along the trail, and much of the elevation gain is in the last half mile, so it will definitely be an option to go a shorter distance and turn around at Middle Falls, for those wanting a less taxing hike.

Hope you’ll be able to join us!
