There was an important Op-Ed in The Michigan Daily this week, written by Noah Weaverdyck, a current Ph.D. candidate in Ann Arbor. Noah is part of a group calling themselves the Climate Action Movement at U-M. They have written a letter to President Mark Schlissel urging him to commit the University to achieving carbon neutrality by 2035. Noah points out that our University is lagging behind others in its commitments to environmental sustainability.
