Looks like this will be a perfect fall weekend at Lake Chelan, with abundant sunshine and high temps in the upper sixties. Michigan alum Kevin Brown has once again offered to host a game watch party for us at his Siren Song Winery. Since this is a morning game for us, they’ve made arrangements to open early and have a special breakfast buffet available. No reservation or registration needed. Hope to see you there!

More Info The Bob Ufer Story

Filmmaker and U-M Alum Dan Chace will be with us here in Seattle next Tuesday to share his latest labor of love celebrating our alma mater. His documentary is about the life and work of famed radio broadcaster Bob Ufer but, more than that, it’s a full-length film exploring another fascinating chapter in the history of the University of Michigan and its legendary football program. Dan is coming straight to us from a very successful premiere of his new film at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor. We don’t get that many chances out on the West Coast to gather together to see a new film about our University, or to hear visiting U-M filmmakers talk about their work, so I would hate to see any of you miss this opportunity. Purchase your tickets today. At only $10 a head (or $8 if you’re an Alumni Association member), it’s the deal of the year.

This event will provide all attendees a warm Michigan welcome and a chance to socialize with bier, brats and bocce ball. Food will be provided so no need to eat beforehand.
