The Big Ten Basketball tournament is this weekend. Michigan’s first game will be on Friday, starting about 6:30 Pacific Time. Assuming Michigan victories, they will play again on Saturday and Sunday, with both games at 12:30 Pacific Time. Game watch parties will be at Buckley’s in Belltown for Friday and Saturday, but will move to their Queen Anne location on Sunday, should Michigan win their first two games. Keep in Mind that Sunday is also St. Patrick’s Day, and so there will be various related activities going on downtown this weekend as a result.
Dr. Chiyo Ishikawa, Seattle Art Museum’s Curator of European Painting and Sculpture, and U-M alumna, has graciously agreed to provide a group of 30 lucky U-M alums with a tour of the exciting new SAM exhibition “Victorian Radicals: From the Pre-Raphaelites to the Arts and Crafts Movement.”
The works of the men and women presented in the exhibition illustrate a spectrum of avant-garde practices of the Victorian period and demonstrate Britain’s first modern art response to industrialization.
The stakes couldn’t be higher for this season finale against Michigan State. We’ll be hosting game watch parties in Seattle and on the Eastside. Hope to see you there!
We’ll be hosting game watch parties in Seattle and on the Eastside for both upcoming games against Michigan State. Hope you can make it to one or both! Both games will loom large in determining team standings going into tournament season.
With 11 breweries in just 5 square miles, Ballard has become a tourist destination for beer. In fact, Ballard is home to more breweries than any other Seattle or Portland neighborhood. If you include Fremont and other next door neighborhoods, there are 19 breweries!
Join your local Big Ten alums for an outing to visit five of these breweries over four hours. We’ll be stopping for 45 minutes at each location. There’s no fee to join, and no registration required. Feel free to join us for as much of the outing as you’d like!
Join your fellow Wolverines to cheer on our basketball team in their Big Ten match-up against rival Ohio State! Note that we’ll be at the other Buckley’s – the one on Queen Anne – and not at our usual game watch location in Belltown.
Join your fellow Wolverines at one of the most highly anticipated Sounders games of the season against the Vancouver Whitecaps! We have purchased 50 tickets for the game. Get yours today if you’d like to join us!
Don’t miss our upcoming event: Painting with Tipsy Foxx at Teku Tavern in Belltown/SLU area!
